FAQ

The Delta Institute is an independent think tank committed to progress in the Netherlands. We work alongside civil service and politics on strengthening our digital government and innovative economy for broad public benefit. You can read more about our focus areas on this page.

Most think tanks write long reports with policy recommendations. Too often, that work ends up sitting in a drawer or gets stuck in implementation. We do whatever is necessary to make our initiatives succeed. Depending on what is needed, we run campaigns, build support in parliament, and help government organizations with operational implementation.

The Delta Institute team works based on our policy agenda. In some cases, we collaborate with ministries and public sector organizations on specific projects when they align with our mission. Read more about that on this page (in Dutch).

If we have open vacancies, you can find them here. You can also apply through an open application. In addition, we work with external advisors who support us voluntarily in a flexible capacity. You can apply for those roles through an open application as well.

As an independent ANBI-registered non-profit foundation, we rely largely on donations to support our work. These contributions allow us to fund a team that can fully dedicate itself to the public interest. While donations make our work possible, they never influence the conclusions of our research or the policy recommendations we make.

At the moment, most of our support comes from philanthropic funds. We also contribute to important projects within government, which provides part of our income.  Would you like to support our work? You can do so through our donations page or you can reach out to us directly.
